Hi! I'm Mrs. Meehan
Welcome to Third Grade! I am so excited to work with you and your child this year. I love third grade and I am looking forward to all of the fun and interesting things we are going to learn. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 10 years now. We moved to Wake County from Greenville, NC last year. We love to travel on weekend adventures and go to the beach in our free time. I love to cook and enjoy trying out new recipes from Pinterest . I also enjoy reading, going to the movies, and spending time with friends. We are thrilled to be expecting a baby boy this fall.
I grew up in Marietta, Ohio and visit often to see my family. I moved to North Carolina in 2008 with my husband so we could both attend East Carolina University for graduate school. I graduated in 2011 with my master’s degree. Go Pirates!
This will be my second year at Morrisville Elementary School and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! I have been teaching for six years and I have taught three different grade levels. This will be my fifth year teaching third grade. I also taught one year each in second and fourth grade. I love school and hope to pass my passion for learning on to my students.
